PATCHS, our new online consultation tool
We have listened to our patients and our staff regarding making our online consultation system accessible and simple to use. We are pleased to announce that we are launching a new online tool called PATCHS which will replace our previous provision week commencing 6th March.
The new online consultation service offers a secure, confidential, simple, and flexible way for patients and carers to contact their GP practice – it will not replace face to face appointments or our telephone services. This is an improved way for you to contact us through our website.
Non-urgent advice: Reepham & Aylsham Medical Practice will be delivering the Influenza and COVID-19 Winter Vaccination Campaign for this year Sept – Nov 2023
We have previously offered both the influenza and COVID-19 vaccines at the same time. This year and due to delivery constraints, we will mostly administer these vaccines separately. Our primary focus will be on the Influenza campaign in September followed by the COVID-19 booster from mid-October onwards (any eligible patient living in a care home or who is housebound will receive both vaccines together during the first two weeks of October).
Planning for our Influenza clinics is underway and anticipated to be on Saturday 16th & 30th September – PLEASE SAVE THE DATE – Information on COVID-19 clinics will be shared once we have confirmed our stock delivery information.
We will invite all eligible patients for both vaccines either by text message for direct booking or by phone for those without a mobile number. If any patient thinks they are eligible to receive either/or both vaccines and have not heard from us by 11th September (influenza) or 9th October (COVID-19), please contact the practice for further advice. Our practice cares for approximately 9,100 patients split between the Reepham and Aylsham surgeries.
Our mission is to serve the needs of our patient population by providing a wide range of services delivered by our highly professional clinical team who are supported by external agencies such as Wellbeing, physiotherapists, midwives, diabetes nurses, district nursing team and health visitors to offer a full range of support within our local community.
We are a four partner GP practice in rural Norfolk, with surgeries in the market towns of Aylsham and Reepham.
Both surgeries have a dispensary and our practice area covers approximately 6 miles.
